Analyst/Project Coordinators
Consulting firm seeks analyst/project coordinators for onsite client support positions located in Washington, DC. Must have the ability to write technical reports, establish and maintain project documentation, manage data, and perform research and general administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. Project management background and knowledge of federal real property program a plus. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and communicate results to a diverse audience. Depending on qualifications, one individual may assume the role of onsite team lead.
Education/experience: Strong writing, Microsoft Office Suite skills, and bachelors' degree.
Facility/Real Estate Analyst
Requires an expertise in forecasting, analytical and quantitative methods, and policy studies. Must have the ability to write technical reports, manage data, and perform research regarding federal faclities. Strong writing skills are essential. An ability to understand building layouts is preferred
Education/experience: Master's degree/equivalent experience, strong communication and computer skills are required.
Facility Planning Professional
Requires a background in facility and site assessment, architectural design, or facility programming. Responsibilities include analyzing operational requirements, conducting facility inspections, and developing project strategies to meet future space needs. Must possess strong technical writing and computer skills, the ability to read architectural plans, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience planning institutional or complex commercial facilities is preferred. Generally requires one week of travel every four to six weeks.
Education/experience: Master's degree/equivalent experience, strong communication and computer skills are required.
Program Analysts
Requires experience in both qualitative and quantitative analysis. Responsibilities include participating in or leading facility planning workshops, conducting research, managing data, and writing detailed reports to document future facility needs. Strong technical writing, analytical, client interface, and database skills are essential. Requires one week of travel every four to six weeks.
Education/experience: Master's degree/equivalent resource planning experience is preferred.
Data Analyst
Responsibilities include organizing data (XLS, MDB, DOC, DWG, PDF, JPG, etc.), developing tools to manipulate the data (SQL, VB/VBA, JAVA, etc.) and creating GUIs to access the data and reporting functions to support the project team. Experience with MapInfo, ArcView, MS Office, and/or AutoCAD a plus.
Education/experience: Bachelor's degree required.
Technical Writer/Editor
Requires experience in editing and refining government policy reports. Must have knowledge of GPO standards and the ability to present technical data to both technical and non-technical users. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and PhotoShop a plus.
Education/experience: Requires BA (in English or technical writing preferred) and at least two years professional work experience.
Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities include a variety of administravie tasks, including scheduling travel, maintaining files, and preparing meeting minutes. Must be skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, detail-oriented and able to effectively multi-task.
Education/experience: Requires strong writing, oral communication, and computer skills.
