Our People: Management Team

Keith Fentress founded the company in 1988 and serves as president and lead executive consultant.  He has a Master's Degree in Political Science and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy Analysis.  Keith has an extensive history of performing resource planning, organizational development, and policy analysis. Keith has a unique ability to develop systematic solutions to organizational challenges and presents complex materials to all levels of understanding and knowledge, skills that serve him well both in his client work and leadership of the company. He enjoys hiking and camping, fly fishing, martial arts, and playing the saxophone.

Ron Seibel has been with Fentress since 1993 and is the manager of the Information Technology and Project Management Divisions.  Ron has a rare combination of technical abilities and leadership skills and possesses exceptional problem-solving and communications skills.  With expertise in many computer programming languages, databases, and computer engineering, Ron oversees the development of all IT applications and support provided by the company.  He is also responsible for directing the efforts of all Fentress project managers and closely monitors all projects and production activity.

Kurt Schlauch began working for Fentress in 1997 and serves as the Policy and Analysis Division Manager.  Kurt has an extensive background in economics, analytical methods, needs assessments, resource planning, and policy studies.  He has produced or directed needs assessment projects, policy papers, and statistical models for numerous Fentress clients and is very experienced in compiling and analyzing a variety of data.  He is an accomplished writer with close attention to detail, and he excels in interpreting analytical results and coherently communicating findings to policymakers.  He manages a team of skilled policy and analysis consultants, economists, and statisticians.

Alison Jones also began working for Fentress in 1997 and is the manager of the Strategic Planning Division.  She is an experienced strategic planning consultant and manager, skilled in the areas of quantitative and qualitative analysis and research, survey development, strategic planning, report-writing, and group facilitation.  Alison excels in conducting field research, has led focus groups and meetings across the country, and is proficient in administering surveys and analyzing the results of her research.  Alison’s background in Industrial/Organizational Psychology provides her with the many skills necessary for performing complex policy studies and directing the efforts of Fentress’ strategic planning consultants. 

Alan Ruby joined Fentress in 2002 as the manager of the Architectural Services Division.  Alan has a Bachelors Degree in Architecture and Urban Design and a Masters Degree in Regional Planning.  His broad experience in architecture and planning has included the management of large facility planning programs for the U.S. Department of Defense and both U.S. and international private sector clients.  With Fentress, he has led the development and implementation of national facility planning efforts and asset management plans for the Federal Judiciary and the Department of Homeland Security. He presently oversees a team comprised of architects and real estate professionals.  Alan is an avid scuba diver and cyclist, and a long time collector of abstract art. 

Donna Chaney has been with Fentress since 2001 and serves as the manager of the Marketing, Administration, and Communication Division.  Donna is responsible for coordinating all business development and marketing activity, managing client contracts, and directing all administrative support for the company.  She has extensive experience with business development and excels at providing a high level of customer support.  She manages a team of administrative professionals, graphic designers and document specialists, and on-site personnel supporting client projects.
