Fentress Wins Long-Range Facility Planning Contract with U.S. Courts

On July 17, 2007, Fentress was awarded a new, multi-year contract for long-range facility planning services for the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AOUSC).  This award marks the continuation of a highly successful 19-year partnership with the AOUSC that began in 1988 when Fentress collaborated on the development and implementation of the first long-range facilities planning program for the federal courts.  Since that time, Fentress has worked with the AOUSC to develop two additional phases of the long-range planning program, each time using increasingly innovative methodologies.  In FY 1999, the AOUSC received an award on the program from the U.S. General Service Administration for Innovation in Real Property Management.

For the past year, Fentress has worked with the AOUSC to develop the newest phase of the program – an asset management planning process – and tested the new concepts in six pilot site locations across the country.  Under the new contract, Fentress will continue implementing the latest version of the long-range planning process and supporting the AOUSC’s Space and Facilities Division with a variety of related support services and studies.

Fentress Celebrated 20 Years in Business on February 2, 2008

Twenty years ago, on February 2, 1988, Keith Fentress incorporated his consulting company and began work on a contract with the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts with one employee – himself.  Keith Fentress and his company, Fentress Incorporated, are still working for the AOUSC but over the past 20 years, they have added a number of additional clients and projects to their corporate resume.  In addition, the company has grown from a one-person firm to a well-established professional services organization that continues to grow and expand its array of skills and services.
